Day 1Marrakech

Upon arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport, your driver will greet you and transfer you to your riad or hotel. After checking in, you can relax and enjoy the hotel’s facilities or explore the vibrant streets of Marrakech. If time permits, visit the bustling Jemaa el-Fna square, known for its storytellers, musicians, snake charmers, and food stalls. Take a stroll through the medina to discover its colorful souks filled with spices, textiles, and handcrafted goods.

Travel to Morocco

Day 3Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Ouarzazate – Dades

Depart Marrakech and head into the High Atlas Mountains, passing through the winding Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 meters). Stop at local villages for a glimpse into Berber culture. Visit the UNESCO-listed Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou, a famous fortified village used as a backdrop for movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. After lunch, continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” and explore the historic Kasbah Taourirt. Drive along the Road of 1,000 Kasbahs, stopping for photos of these ancient fortresses, and arrive at the Dades Valley.

Day 4Dades – Todra Gorge – Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

Start the day by exploring the Dades Gorge, with its dramatic cliffs and winding roads. Drive to the Todra Gorge, where sheer rock walls rise 600 feet above a crystal-clear river—perfect for a short walk or a photo stop. Continue to the desert town of Merzouga, where you’ll trade your vehicle for camels to embark on a magical sunset ride through the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. End the day at a luxury desert camp, enjoying traditional Berber music and stargazing under the clear Sahara sky.

Day 5Merzouga – Midelt – Ifrane – Fes

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the Sahara dunes, followed by breakfast at the camp. Drive north through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing Berber villages and lush cedar forests. Stop in Midelt, known for its fossils, for lunch and a brief visit. Continue to Ifrane, often called “the Switzerland of Morocco” for its European-style architecture. Arrive in Fes in the evening.

After breakfast, begin a full-day guided tour of Fes el-Bali, the oldest medina in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit the Royal Palace gates, the bustling tanneries where leather is dyed in vibrant colors, and the historic Bou Inania Madrasa. Explore the Karaouine Mosque, one of the oldest universities in the world. Your guide will also take you to artisan workshops specializing in pottery, weaving, and metalwork. Enjoy lunch in a traditional restaurant in the medina before continuing your tour.
  • Evening activity: Relax in your riad or take a stroll through the medina’s evening markets.

Day 7 Fes – Meknes – Volubilis – Chefchaouen

Head to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, to visit landmarks such as the Bab Mansour Gate, the Royal Stables, and the bustling El Hedim Square. Continue to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, where you’ll see preserved mosaics and columns. In the afternoon, drive to Chefchaouen, the enchanting blue city in the Rif Mountains. Explore its charming streets at your own pace, admiring the blue-painted buildings and artisan shops.

Day 8 Chefchaouen – Rabat – Casablanca

Depart Chefchaouen and head to Rabat, Morocco’s capital city. Visit the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the picturesque Kasbah of the Udayas, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Continue to Casablanca, where you’ll visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world and open to non-Muslims. Spend the evening exploring the Corniche, Casablanca’s vibrant waterfront district.

Day 9Departure Day

Your driver will take you to the airport in Casablanca (or Marrakech) for your return flight. If time allows, you can visit some last-minute attractions or shop for souvenirs.
